Raul C doesn't think of himself as a DJ who plays music. He's the person who makes sure the moments a couple will talk about for years don't get lost in the noise of a wedding night.
Music wasn't something Raul discovered. It was something he was born into. Born in New York City and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador, he grew up surrounded by sound: Latin rhythms, house music, rock, and everything in between. That mix never left him. It became his signature, and it's why he doesn't just play Latin music, he understands it. The difference between a cumbia from one region and the next. The exact tempo shift that moves a room from dinner energy to a packed dance floor, or brings a divided crowd back together when it's about to split.
As both DJ and MC, Raul moves effortlessly between English and Spanish, serving couples from all backgrounds across New Jersey and New York, from elegant ballroom receptions to vibrant Latin celebrations. But what couples remember isn't the language. It's that nothing that mattered to them got skipped.
